NEUROTOXINS AND DERMAL FILLERS
Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers
Neurotoxins and dermal fillers help reduce signs of aging. Neurotoxins are injected to relax muscles and improve the appearance of wrinkles in the area of the forehead, between the eyes and to reduce the appearance of crows feet. Improvements can be visible as early as three days with full results at two weeks and last an average of 3 months.
Dermal fillers are used to restore volume in the cheeks and “fill” lines in the lower face that have occurred due to sagging of the skin. Results are immediate and last an average of 9-12 months.
Botox®
Also known as Botox Cosmetic®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, or Botulinum Toxin Type A. Botulinum toxin (Type A) is a cosmetic injection that blocks the nerve signals that cause muscles to contract. This effect relaxes and smooths the look of lines and wrinkles caused by repetitive movements on the face – most commonly, between the brows, crows-feet around the eyes, and horizontal forehead creases.
Botulinum toxin is also used cosmetically to balance facial asymmetry, chin wrinkles, gummy smile, bunny line on the nose and relax tight neck bands, as well as medically to decrease perspiration.
During your free consultation, your Aspira Body practitioner will discuss your treatment goals and make a personalized plan to achieve them. Our goal is always to make you feel better about your youthful appearance evolving naturally, never to make it obvious you had “work done”.
Sclerotherapy
Superficial spider veins are treated with Sclerotherapy. The Sclerotherapy procedure is the injection of medication into the veins causing them to clot and dissolve. Treatments are well tolerated and take approximately 30 minutes.
Injections are recommended every six weeks. Results are noticeable after 1-6 treatments depending on the individual. All Sclerotherapy treatments at Aspira Body are performed by a Vascular Surgeon or Vascular Nurse Practitioner.
Before treatment, patients are evaluated by a Vascular Specialist to determine what recommended treatment is appropriate for you.
