Coolsculpting® Elite

The optimal number of sessions can vary from each individual. It can easily start at one session or up to three sessions. This can only be accurately assessed during your in-person consultation with our staff.

The duration of a total treatment depends on the areas to be treated, the number and the type of applicators to be used, and your desired results. If two applicators are used for the under-chin area, each session is 45 minutes long for a total treatment time of two hours. If two applicators are used on the abdomen, then the total time is 35 minutes or 45 minutes, depending on the applicator’s size.

The cost of the CoolSculpting® Elite treatment can only be determined at the time of your initial consultation, as the final cost depends on the type of applicator to be used, the number of applicators, and the number of sessions needed.

The new C cup design of CoolSculpting® Elite applicators allows for more tissue contact, more suction, more even cooling result, and faster treatment times as two areas can be treated at the same time with one machine. For practices that have two machines, you can treat four treatment areas in a 35-minute session. For example, you can treat arms and abdomen or treat arms and flanks or treat underchin and any other body area at once.

CoolSculpting® Elite is a non-invasive procedure. We do not feel uncomfortable during treatment ourselves. The new C-cup design allows for gentler suction and even cooling, which would lead to a more comfortable treatment.

We do not recommend it. It has not been studied and unlikely any doctor will be comfortable with providing treatment to a very visibly pregnant patient. If you think you might be pregnant, please inform our staff before any procedures.

If you had natural or vaginal childbirth and have recovered fully, then the soonest it should be okay is one month after having a baby. It is recommended to wait between three to six months if you intend to breastfeed and to wait for your hormones to reset. You should give your body a chance to get back to your normal, as well as establish an exercise routine. It is a personal decision and should be discussed with your doctor.

Each treatment depends on each individual and varies on the skin type, skin elasticity, scars, and any tattoos in the treatment areas. The amount of pinchable fat in the area of concern, whether there is a hernia or no hernia in the treatment area is also a factor. Combination modalities tend to lead to better results and happier patients.
